Growth Team
The Growth Team is a specialized group whose responsibility is to increase the product's value and customer base through rapid experimentation and data-driven decision making.

The Growth Team must expand the value and customer base of a product that's already on the market by building data-driven rapid experimentation processes.
More often than not, the Growth Team works on a product that is already somewhat stable. If you are working in a small team and are in the early stages of development, that is, you've already put together a more-or-less working product and believe that people are ready to pay for it, then you can move on to the next stage – and that's where growth is possible. At this stage, your entire team becomes the Growth Team, because your main focus at this stage is exponential growth.
Once you've grown, you can start to monetize your audience. This is where a very important moment comes into play: you need to divide the team or company into several parts. One part deals with support, while another with the company's growth.

Let's talk about the Growth Team
The Growth Team can be your existing team, the aim of which is to grow your product exponentially, even if it's not called the Growth Team. Let's look at this topic issue in more detail in the following lesson.
Common Mistakes made by the Growth Team
There is no need to demand immediate results from the team, as it often takes several months to see something. Be sure to separate the team, since the Growth Team shouldn't be working on scaling. Be sure to set goals that will show exponential growth. It's also imperative that the Growth Team has access to awesome data, since such teams will not survive without it. Mikhail Karpov will talk more about this topic.
